the Kenyatta Center, the Central Mosque, Nairobi's main Market and the

north to the highland slopes of Mount Kenya to stay at the famous "Ark"
lodge where you can observe game at the watering hole from the veranda. |

Our next stop is Lake Nakuru,
home to over a million pink flamingoes. Spend a night here before driving
south through the Rift Valley into the vast Maasai Mara wildlife park on
Kenya's southern border. You will have two nights with morning and evening
game drives. And you will meet the noble Maasai people. |

As an option, you can take a hot
air balloon flight at dawn to view game from the air, followed by a elegant
champagne breakfast in the bush. On the return drive to Nairobi, we visit
a Maasai village to meet the people, and see how they live. Experience
their dance, wood carvings and ornate beads. |

You fly to Mombasa on the east
coast to enjoy sandy beaches and cool tropical breezes. Tour this ancient
city that was once home to Arab slave traders. Dine by lantern in the ruins
of Fort Jesus before we return to Nairobi. One more chance to shop and
dinner at the famous Carnivore restaurant where wild game is featured on
the menu. Tomorrow ... on to Ethiopia! |
